17 Years ago he released 7 days & in 17 Days he will be back at Pure Beach Club.
From Miami Penthouse Parties to Headlining Glastonbury Craig David’s ‘comeback’ has been undeniable and highly anticipated.
Thankfully 2016 finally delivered what we had all been waiting for, the release of his sixth studio album “Following My Intuition”. The album debuted at Number One on the UK Albums Chart almost instantly, 16 years on from when his first number-one Album “Born to do it” reached the top spot.
The album is a return to form. With enough shuffling two-step on there to please the returning fans, and some Disclosure-esque production on tracks like ‘One More Time’ and ‘16’ – which actually features a throw back to ‘Fill Me In’ – to captivate the new generation of Craig David fans.
Non surprisingly this success has found him inundated with invites to some of the most globally renowned festivals like Glastonbury, Tomorrowland & V Fest to name a few. Not to mention landing himself a peak season TS5 Pool Party residency at Ibiza Rocks.
David’s ability to sing, MC and work the crowd whilst simultaneously Dj’ing is what makes his TS5 set so unique. He gets the balance of old classics and his new material just right and delivers his R’n’B free styling to perfection.
Making it easy to understand how he has kept his diverse fan base so engaged throughout his comeback.
With a new album on the horizon and a track record of Brit Nominations, Mobo Awards & Chart Topping Releases we are positive he won’t disappoint.
Craig David will be returning to Pure Beach Club August 15th to host another Addicted. His appearance last year smashed every attendance record the venue has had since opening it’s doors in 2014. So its going to be one hell of a show.
