In less than two years Sigala has gone from a record producer and song writer staying out of the limelight to essentially dominating the UK Dance Scene. With 5 of his singles landing themselves firmly in the UK Top 10 Singles Chart its easy to see why he is top of every line up list this Summer.
He now finds himself inundated with invites to some of the most globally renowned festivals like Creamfields, V Fest & Tomorrowland to name a few. Not to mention an appearance at one of Ibizas Hottest Venues – Ushuaia.
With a Tropical House theme to his music his sets have an undeniable Carnival/Festival atmosphere to them. His most recent set at Addicted had it all from Crowd Surfing to Shirt Swinging. With the crowd returning Sigala’s infectious energy by singing back to him throughout and following every command the MC threw their way.
It was the success of his first single in the shape of the Jackson 5-sampling, tropical house-inspired ‘Easy Love’ topping the charts at Number 1 within a week of its release that had him on everyones radar. It’s no wonder this track was followed by back to back Summer Anthems ‘Sweet Lovin’ & the DJ Fresh/Imani collaboration ‘Say You Do’.
His following single, the glorious funk-meets-disco-meets-house shimmer of ‘Give Me Your Love’, features powerhouse vocalist John Newman and actual living legend Nile Rodgers, and once again he was in the Top 10.
His recent collaboration with Ella Eyre ‘Came Here for Love’ is already set to be one of the biggest hits of the Summer! The feel good anthem was also appointed the Official London Pride Song this year.
